Close-out records must show what was found, decided and built

A technical solution is complete only when the approved response, inspection evidence and final as-built condition can be traced by future project teams.

Recommended record

registered deviation or defect report;
survey, photographs and test evidence;
calculation note and approved decision;
repair or strengthening drawings;
inspection and material records;
final as-built confirmation and monitoring requirements.
